Cornus Serica Flaviramea (C. Stolonifera Flaviramea) is a vigorous, deciduous, spreading shrub with creeping, underground stems. Has bright greenish-yellow, young shoots in winter and oval, dark green leaves. Small star-shaped, white flowers appearing late spring and early summer followed by spherical, white fruits. Makes a good contrast to Red Stemmed Dogwood. Its usual growth tends to be 2m high . If grown as a shrub prune hard in spring to improve stem colour.
It prefers moist to wet sites but will tolerate most sites as long as it is placed in the sun and the soil is highly organic.
